THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A Thomasville man is facing multiple felony charges, including child molestation.
William Cason, 51, was a jailer for 17 years at the Thomas County jail and since his arrest, he was suspended without pay.
Investigators said Cason is facing two counts of child molestation and sexual battery and one count of cruelty to children.
According to documents, Cason has made bond.
Erick Schwalls, assistant special agent in charge of Thomasville’s Georgia Bureau of Investigation Office, said the victims were two females.
Schwalls said these crimes are said to have happened seven years ago, but the victims just reported it to police last month.
At this time, investigators cannot release the age of the victims or any more details on the case.
The investigation is still active and ongoing.
