TIFTON, GA (WALB) - Several firsts are happening for Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
Its study abroad program is preparing to send students to Argentina and France for the very first time.
The students are part of the college’s Agribusiness program.
The ones heading to Argentina will study global trade and learn how government and policy works.
Another group, heading to France, are part of a joint program that focuses on war, film and reality and political systems.
“[I’ve] never been to really even another state really besides Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, so, I’m really excited,” said Lorin Lindler, a student. “Of course it’s nerve wrecking, but I’m working on getting my passport right now and I think it’ll be a really good experience.”
ABAC said the students will study in the summer. They start traveling in May.
