COOK CO., GA (WALB) - Officials have released what charges an Adel man is facing after the GBI said he confessed to killing his wife.
Anthony Jerome Williams, 40, is behind bars, facing multiple charges for the murder of his wife, Kimberly Williams.
Jerome’s charges include two counts of murder, concealing a death and aggravated assault.
Law enforcement also released new details explaining that Kimberly’s body was found near Lavind Street in Cook County.
The Adel Police Department said Jerome’s confession included where they could find her body.
Jerome originally claimed that Kimberly was abducted after she was reported missing by family.
Law enforcement then visited the home shared by Kimberly, Jerome and their children, where they found evidence to suggest foul play.
Cook County Coroner Tim Purvis said Kimberly died from blunt force trauma.
This investigation is still active and ongoing.
